“A Cup of Wilderness”
Warnagala Wild Tea is hand-crafted from leaves plucked high above the surrounding landscape. Tucked away in the Adams Peak Mountain range is a tea estate which was abandoned 130 years ago and reclaimed by the jungle. Our wild tea is handpicked from this forest with bamboo ladders.
Its unique earthy character is given by the nutrients absorbed from the tap root in deep layers of rich soil in the unspoilt forest environment.
This unique tea is sourced from the pioneers of Ceylon Wild Tea in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka.
The tea is packed in handloom bags made by ladies in the local community.
